“Building for God’s Glory: Loving God & Loving People”
As God continues to bless and grow the local body of believers at Cody Bible Church, the leadership has earnestly prayed, fervently sought wise counsel, and eagerly researched the possibility of pursuing a new building project that adds a new sanctuary and additional foyer space to its current building complex.
The above pictured building is a concept drawing of the direction the leadership is pursuing, though not a final plan, it is a layout and design that seems to fit the needs of the congregation and community as well as aesthetically match the current facilities.
The leadership would like to see our current congregation be able to come together from two Sunday Morning Worship Services back into one combined service to further its unity as well as being visionary to reach the many unreached in the Cody, WY community and surrounding areas. This new Sanctuary would seek to meet this need as well as facilitate further growth.
The main purpose of pursuing this new building addition would be to follow the many biblical models found within the pages of Scripture like that which the book of Haggai says, “Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the Lord“(Haggai 1:8). We would keep the glory of God as the primary focus and purpose of this building project and all ministries within and outside the church.
Would you join in supporting this endeavor through a time of concerted and earnest prayer before the Lord to follow His will and the vision that He has for His church? Would you also consider how the Lord might desire to use you to come along side CBC financially or in service as we love the Lord and His people in this building endeavor?
We will say as the prophet Isaiah did, “With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. And you will say in that day: Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted. Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known in all the earth” (Isaiah 12:3-5).
